Director of Sales– Chicagoland Area
Are you an experienced sales leader with a passion for home remodeling? We're seeking an In-Home Sales Director to join our team at a large, well-established home remodeling company serving the Chicagoland area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of In-Home Sales: Oversee the entire in-home sales team from initial lead generation to closing, ensuring our reputation of exceptional service and value.
- Lead and Train a High-Performing Sales Team: Hire, onboard, and mentor new sales representatives. Provide ongoing coaching and training to help team members refine their skills and meet sales goals.
- Drive and Meet Sales Goals: Develop strategies to meet and exceed company sales targets. Create individual sales goals for team members and hold them accountable to achieve those targets.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis: Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to leadership. Analyze sales trends and adjust strategies to improve team performance.
- Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth communication and execution of sales initiatives.
- Recruitment & Staffing: Lead recruitment efforts for expanding the sales team. Interview, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates for the sales department.
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute sales campaigns, promotional offers, and other initiatives to boost sales and improve overall company revenue.
- Monitor and Manage Sales Tools and Technology: Ensure the sales team is equipped with the tools, systems, and technologies needed to succeed, from CRM systems to reporting software.
- Foster a Competitive and Motivating Team Environment: Build a positive, results-oriented culture where each sales team member is motivated to achieve personal and team-wide success.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the bathroom or home remodeling industry.
- Proven track record in building and leading successful sales teams.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
- Expertise in developing sales strategies, managing a team, and driving results.
- Ability to analyze sales data and adjust strategies to maximize performance.
- Must be based in the Chicagoland area and be willing to travel throughout Chicagoland as needed.
Compensation:
- 2% of all net sales.
- Minimum annual salary of $500k.
