We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Show & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the Hartford, CT area.
What You’ll Do:
Identify and research consumer events, home shows, expos, and festivals within our designated territory
Negotiate and secure event space contracts with vendors
Build and manage a strategic annual calendar of events
Recruit, hire, and train a team of enthusiastic Event Demonstrators
Schedule and oversee staffing for each event
Coordinate the transportation, setup, and teardown of event booths and displays
Engage with event attendees and schedule free in-home consultations
Collect and manage contest entries and follow up to convert them into appointments
Track event performance, leads, and ROI metrics, and report results regularly
What We’re Looking For:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Energetic, outgoing, and confident personality
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Proven ability to coach and motivate a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Must be available to work weekends (events are often held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays)
