Administer and organize construction project related activities under the direction of the Production Manager targeting the successful execution of all projects. You will support by communicating with customers, scheduling, record keeping, material and labor procurement.

Essential Job Functions

• Creating purchase orders, change orders and material orders
• Communicate all pertinent project information to clients (verbally & written)
• Produce and update schedules as needed
• Coordinate permitting and inspections
• Issue change orders and communicate answers to all parties
• Review daily logs and recaps from subcontractors
• Build project start-up folders
• Assist with punch list management
• Coordinate repair services
• Maintaining both physical and electronic records

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Computer skills required
• Excellent follow through, accountability, strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and organization
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to multitask and routinely required to work on several tasks at one time while handling phone calls
• Communicate with customer at critical points and throughout duration of project
• Ensure accurate and detailed descriptions of works orders are communicated throughout the production department, field employees, and accounting
• Manage all materials on the job sites, coordinate the return extra materials to the shop
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly
• Ability to both collaborate and work independently
• Capacity to navigate a fast paced, challenging work environment and manage stressful situations while handling and prioritizing multiple projects at once
• Professional attitude, appearance and manner
• High level customer service skills
• Dedication to company, culture and overall desire to succeed are critical
• Strong knowledge of construction industry
• Ability to quickly adapt in a fast paced and quick changing environment
• Ability to followed detailed instructions

Compensation/Benefits
• Starting minimum pay $37,400 annually, based on experience
