Location: West Des Moines, IA (Must live in the Des Moines area)
Travel: Occasional travel to Omaha once per week — returns home nightly

Position Overview

HomeView Exteriors & Baths is seeking a highly skilled Installation Manager / Project Manager who is proficient in bath repairs, window repairs, entry door repairs, and siding. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage projects, support installation teams, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.


Duties & Responsibilities

1. Job Oversight & Scheduling

  • Manage and schedule all jobs from start to finish.

  • Coordinate crews and subcontractors for timely installs.

  • Perform site visits before and during projects to verify scope and progress.

2. Material Ordering & Logistics

  • Accurately order materials based on project scope.

  • Coordinate delivery timelines to match schedules.

  • Manage returns or reorders to prevent delays.

3. Installation Support

  • Assist with small window installs as needed.

  • Provide hands-on support for roofing, siding, windows, gutters, and bath installations.

  • Step in to help when crews are short-handed.

4. Quality Control

  • Routinely inspect work to ensure it meets company standards.

  • Resolve punch list items before job completion.

  • Confirm all work is 100% complete prior to final walkthrough.

5. Customer Communication

  • Act as the main point of contact for homeowners during installation.

  • Provide timely updates on progress, timelines, and changes.

  • Address and resolve issues professionally.

6. Problem Solving & Adjustments

  • Troubleshoot job site issues, crew needs, material discrepancies, and weather delays.

  • Make real-time decisions that maintain quality and keep projects moving.

7. Reviews & Customer Satisfaction

  • Ensure a smooth and professional customer experience.

  • Request 5-star reviews upon completion and send direct review links.

  • Address last-minute concerns to secure positive feedback.

8. Documentation & Reporting

  • Use the company CRM/job tracking system to log all updates.

  • Take before, during, and after photos for every job.

  • Track change orders, timelines, and completion status.

9. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure job sites follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.

  • Conduct regular safety checks and correct issues immediately.

10. Coordination with Sales Team

  • Verify the sold scope of work matches actual installation needs.

  • Communicate change orders, discrepancies, and up-sell opportunities.

  • Keep the sales team updated on project timelines and status.
