Job Summary
TWS Remodeling is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team in New Hope, MN.
In this key role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable while helping maintain accurate financial records and supporting the company's overall financial health. You'll work closely with the CFO to improve accounting procedures, implement standardized processes, and strengthen financial reporting.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and on time.
- Generate customer invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Assist with financial reporting and support internal and external audits.
- Help maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls.
- Collaborate with the CFO to improve accounting procedures and streamline financial processes.
- Respond promptly to vendor and customer inquiries while providing excellent customer service.
- Utilize accounting software and Excel to maintain accurate financial data and reporting.
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping experience required.
- Experience managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits, journal entries, account reconciliations, and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong data management abilities.
- Knowledge of GAAP; experience with SOX compliance is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
