About the Role:
Hobbs Home Improvements is growing at an impressive pace and is looking for a dependable, full-time Administrative Assistant to keep our operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills. You’ll be the go-to person in the office and play a key role in customer service, job coordination, and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administrative duties
- Be on-site at our office to accept and manage deliveries
- Sign off on warehouse deliveries and coordinate delivery logistics
- Take inbound customer calls and make outbound calls to set appointments for in-home consultations with our sales team
- Follow up on customer inquiries and track new project leads
- Perform follow-up calls/emails on open leads and pending estimates
- Answer phones and respond professionally to customer inquiries
- Organize and maintain job records and documentation
- Take inventory of office and job site materials
- Handle all material ordering and supply tracking
- Input job information into Google Drive and other internal systems
- Use our CRM software to manage customer data and scheduling
- Perform office clerical work and respond to emails in a timely, professional manner
- Keep the office tidy and organized
- Assist with any other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Strong computer skills and high comfort level with technology (must be tech-savvy)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience using CRM databases
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to undergo a drug and background check
- Previous office administration or customer service experience is a plus
- Experience in a call center or customer-facing role is required
